Photographer Comments: I like this picture for two reasons. First, the cook came out of the front door and lit up a cigarette right as I was getting ready to snap the shutter. Second, I was also able to capture the little Christmas tree glowing in the storefront window just to the left of the cook. I can still remember how I felt at that moment shivering in the cold, removing my gloves to fumble with camera and then quickly putting them back on because it was so cold, and then looking at that tree... I truly felt a spirit of holiday essence in the air.
