Photographer Comments: When I saw these two guys hanging out I knew it would make a great photograph. I love this picture because of the pure simplicity in its composition and form. Two buddies drinking beers, telling tales and enjoying each other's company. I love the REFRESHMENTS sign, the cigarette dangling from the one guy's hand, the fact that the other guy is munching on a toothpick... if they weren't at this stand they would have been at the races or catching a ballgame. I was actually a bit surprised when they agreed to let me photograph them. I snapped a half dozen or so pictures and they were all good!
